Presence and support personified
The birth and parenting process is about the family having the baby, and we are simply privileged to offer confidence, wisdom and a little bit of humor as your family grows. You are our greatest priority. We stop at nothing to provide the most professional, well-trained and experienced assistance available.
Which is why our doulas are not just trained and experienced, but have undergone the rigorous national certification process put forth by ProDoula, the organization leading the way in industry standards of personalized support and professionalism. We demand consistency of training, certification and compassionate support because you demand it. You know that every time you reach out to us, you will be greeted warmly by a knowledgeable member of your team, who will meet the needs you didn't even know you had.
As Professional Labor Doulas, we bring a skilled and experienced set of hands to work with laboring parents, to offer physical, emotional and informational support in late pregnancy, during labor and birth, and immediately afterward. After you’ve hired an obstetrician or midwife to take care of the medical tasks and ensure you and your baby stay healthy, you and your partner hire a doula to help with labor “from the waist up."
They used to call us birth coaches, but birth and parenthood is not a game, no one is keeping score and *you* call the shots. We are YOUR DOULAS. Our job is to rub your back, cheer you on, and help your partner shine so you can focus on the life you are nurturing. We are the experts in childbirth options who provide continuous and unconditional support, so that you can focus on being the amazing parent you already are.
Our most popular service brings everything you love about our assistance, skills and compassion and into your home as you bring home your newest addition. As Professional Postpartum Doulas, we will support you and your family at home as you transition to life with a new baby.
Life with a postpartum doula is like having a fairy-godmother around to help with all the little household tasks. It’s almost as if magically your laundry gets folded, the kitchen is wiped down, your baby is changed and swaddled and ready to feed as soon as you get up from that nap you were taking (because there was a skilled set of hands at your home, to take care of your little one(s) so you could focus on resting).
Except it isn't a fairy-tale, your Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specialist has extensive training on feeding support and how to facilitate the family bond and rest.
Technically, you don’t even have to have birthed the baby—postpartum doulas are great for adoptive parents, parents who used a surrogate or even grandparents who are taking on the role of parenting again!
